How many days after birth does a kitten loose its umbilical cord ?

My cat just had kittens 6 days ago and out of the 5 she had only 2 have lost the umbelical cord.I have read everywhere and it says it usually falls off on day 3 .Should i be concerned about the other 3 or do some just take longer than others?thanx

Don't worry about it. Unless they look infected. When you read that is should fall off on day three, that's what the average is. So some will fall off before and some after.

If it does look infected I'd suggest seeing a vet. Otherwise hang in there, they'll come off on their own in their own time.
